Can customers or technical account managers or other teams specify which server to create a node?​

Only if we are providing dedicated servers to them or their servers are managed by them (cluster that their servers aren’t gow hardware)

In any other cases, escalate to semekh

What requests do we handle and what requests do we reject?​

Normal cluster-wide resources?​

Namespace​

In our own clusters:

  • Mostly okay.
  • Escalate if anything seems out of the ordinary or fishy.

In a specific team’s dedicated cluster (like hamravesh-c85 and maratus):

  • Delegate to the cluster’s team

ClusterIssuer​

In our own clusters:

  • Normally we don’t create a specific cluster issuer and tell the teams to create their own issuer.

In a specific team’s dedicated cluster (like hamravesh-c85 and maratus):

  • Delegate to the cluster’s team

New external VMs​

  • Internal usage only (like vault).
  • We do not provide external VMs for customers unless explicitly approved by semekh
  • Access to these VMs should be provided by boundary
